Frequently asked questions

Straight answers for haulers sizing up the platform. Still stuck? Contact us.

How much does it cost?

There's no monthly fee, no setup fee, and no contract. You pay 2.9% per transaction until your fees for the month reach $99, then just 0.69% on everything after that. A slow month costs you a few dollars. Your first 15 jobs are fee-free while you get set up.

Is there a contract or a minimum?

No. No contract, no minimum volume, no per-user or per-truck fees. Cancel any time from your dashboard and export your data — we don't hold your business hostage.

How do I get paid?

You connect your own Stripe account. Customer card payments land in your Stripe balance and pay out to your bank on Stripe's normal schedule. The platform never holds your money — our small share splits off automatically at the moment of payment.

How long does setup take?

About 20 minutes. Add your dumpster sizes and prices, your service area, and connect Stripe — then your booking page is live and taking orders. You can be taking online bookings the same day.

Do my customers have to create an account?

Never. Customers book in about three minutes with no login — they pick a size, see a price with delivery and mileage included, pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, and get a private tracking link by text and email.

I already have a website. Can I keep it?

Yes. You can drop a Book Now button into any website you already own, and it opens your DumpsterVibes booking flow. If you don't have a site, we offer a hosted one — but you're never forced to switch.

Does it do junk removal and porta-potties too, or just dumpsters?

All three, and one more besides. Roll-off dumpster rental, junk removal (with a curbside quote-and-sign flow), and portable toilets (with a per-unit catalog and automatic recurring cleaning stops) — turn on only the ones you run. You can also service a container the customer already owns, roll-off or compactor: record it on their profile and the office schedules dump-and-return hauls, on call or on a recurring cadence, billed off the weight ticket.

Is there a driver app?

Yes — it runs in any web browser, and native iOS and Android apps are coming soon. Drivers get the day's stops in dispatch order, one tap to navigate, live 'en route' tracking for the customer, photo-and-asset-number completion, weight tickets at the scale, and a simple truck log.

What about text messages and the STOP laws?

Most customer texts are transactional (booking confirmations, pay links, reminders). Two are not: the post-job review request and the rental-extension reminder. Your checkout box asks for both in one opt-in and names them — customers agree to order updates plus occasional service messages and offers such as review requests — so what you send matches what they agreed to. Every text ends with a STOP opt-out we honor automatically, and STOP ends all of them.

Can I put a customer on invoice / net terms?

Yes. Put a customer on net terms, merge bookings onto one invoice or batch-invoice the whole month, and track what's owed. Customers pay invoices by card by default; you can enable bank transfer (ACH) for an individual customer from their profile.

What if I take cash or checks?

Mark them paid in the office and they're tracked right alongside card money. The platform's share accrues on your dashboard and settles from your Stripe balance with one click — taken from money you've already collected, never from a customer's card.

Do you take a cut of donated or charity jobs?

Donated rentals inside your monthly allowance carry no platform fee at all.
